Light Photography - multiple exposure
While on the highway one night, I decided to experiment with multiple exposures. I opened up the aperture and set the shutter speed to an indefinite length of time. Focusing on the headlights and taillights ahead, I set my camera on the dashboard and exposed the film for a length of time (five to ten seconds). After one exposure, I kept the film from advancing by holding down the release as I wound it. The camera was then turned in increments of 90 degrees to create paths of light moving in different directions.
Different effects were used while printing a few of these. The top left has drops of water splashed over it. The bottom left was solarized during development.
